SAP Identity Access Management Specialist

Identity Access Management Systems require careful design and implementation to ensure secure access for clients. This role involves delivering a comprehensive solution that integrates multiple security protocols, including SSO, SAML 2.0, OAuth, OpenID Connect, MFA, and federation.
About the JobThe ideal candidate will have experience in SAP Security/IAM with at least 10-15 years of hands-on experience in designing and implementing secure identity access management systems. Key responsibilities include:
Main Responsibilities- Designing and configuring SAP IAS (SSO, SAML 2.0, OAuth, OpenID Connect, MFA, federation) to meet client requirements
- Maintaining and configuring SAP IPS provisioning for S/4HANA Cloud and BTP applications
- Ensuring deep understanding of SAP BTP security concepts – subaccounts, role collections, entitlements, trust setup
- Integrating corporate identity providers (Azure AD, Okta, Ping Identity)
Preferred skills and qualifications include exposure to SAP GRC Access Control or SAP IDM for governance and role-based provisioning, knowledge of certificate-based authentication, SCIM, Zero Trust models, and experience in BTP multi-tenant and service-to-service authentication setups. Additionally, familiarity with authorization concepts in S/4HANA Cloud and BTP services is desirable.
A successful candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, strong analytical thinking, and the ability to communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
