Pharmaceutical Supply Chain Professional

Centralized pharmaceutical procurement is a critical function in the healthcare industry. As a Pharmaceutical Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for leading the development of an optimized medicine supply chain across multiple locations.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop a comprehensive procurement strategy for pharmaceutical products, ensuring competitive pricing and product availability.
- Negotiate contracts with vendors, manage relationships, and evaluate supplier performance.
- Oversee inventory management systems to minimize waste and ensure proper storage conditions.
- Coordinate distribution schedules based on demand forecasting and manage emergency procurement for critical medicines.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, maintain accurate documentation, and implement quality control measures.
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or related field (preferably)
- MBA in Supply Chain/Operations Management (advantageous)
- 8-12 years of experience in pharmaceutical procurement, preferably in hospital/healthcare settings
- Experience with centralized procurement operations and knowledge of pharmaceutical supply chain and distribution networks
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and reporting skills, as well as leadership abilities to manage a procurement team
