GIS Developer

We are seeking a skilled system developer to work on geospatial projects. The ideal candidate will have experience with ArcGIS, Python and JavaScript, and be able to deploy scalable solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform.

The position performs a wide range of duties including developing, deploying and maintaining connectors to connect with customer interfaces, communicating and understanding technical requirements of customers interfaces and develop appropriate architecture for implementations, analyzing, reviewing and modifying programming systems, ensuring that software can be completely integrated into the customer's system, coordinating software integration and maintain technical documentation.

  • Experience with front-end technologies such as React, HTML, JavaScript and CSS languages and frameworks.
  • Knowledge of Azure Cloud is preferable.
  • Proven experience developing dynamic front-end web applications.
  • Writing clean code with well-defined abstractions that reduce complexity.
  • Passionate about implementing responsive and user-friendly interfaces.
  • Knowledge and utilization of REST API and other web services for integrating.
  • Experience with at least one RDBMS (SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.) and strong SQL skills.
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration.
  • Master's degree, GIS, Geographic Science, Computer Science, Survey Engineering, Related Field or related bachelor's degree with some relevant experience.

  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript/Python
  • Expert knowledge of System Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
