Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop high-performance web applications using Django, delivering exceptional user experiences through intuitive interfaces and efficient workflows.
  • Collaborate with back-end teams to integrate user interfaces with server-side logic, ensuring seamless communication between front-end and back-end components and optimal system performance.
  • Implement and maintain data storage solutions using Django ORM and RESTful APIs, ensuring data integrity and security while maximizing scalability and flexibility.
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability, ensuring cross-browser compatibility and consistent user interactions.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues to enhance application performance and stay informed about industry best practices and emerging technologies.
Requirements:
  • Strong understanding of Django ORM (Object-Relational Mapping) for efficient database handling.
  • Mastery of Django's template language for generating dynamic HTML content.
  • Familiarity with Django REST framework for building Web APIs.
  • Knowledge of class-based views to organise application logic.
  • Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Understanding of security features in Django (e.g., XSS protection, CSRF protection).
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

A Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field is preferred.
