Job Title: Senior System Support Specialist

Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and manage applications in investment banking environments, including front office and middle office systems.
  • Respond to system alerts, incidents, and user-reported issues in a timely manner.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot technical issues related to applications, databases, and integrations.
  • Coordinate with development teams to implement fixes and enhancements.
  • Provide updates to stakeholders on the status of ongoing incidents.

Documentation and Knowledge Management:

  • Maintain accurate records of incidents, solutions, and changes in the production environment.
  • Develop and update support documentation, knowledge base articles, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in supporting business applications.
  • Experience in AWS, Unix/Linux environments, database technologies such as SQL Server, and programming languages like Python.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
