Mission

The Marine Surveyor will apply knowledge of Rules, Regulations, and industry principles to support the surveying team in performing routine inspections and maintaining accurate documentation.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Apply professional knowledge and expertise in surveying practices.
  2. Conduct routine surveys on classed ships, platforms, or marine structures under the guidance of a more experienced surveyor.
  3. Maintain survey files in an orderly and up-to-date manner.
  4. Engage in ongoing learning to enhance knowledge and skills relevant to surveying practices.
  5. Collaborate with and seek guidance from more experienced surveyors to ensure accurate and effective survey outcomes.
  6. Contribute to maintaining the quality of surveying work under the guidance of experienced surveyors.
  7. Engage with clients as directed by more experienced surveyors, contributing to problem-solving within the area of expertise.
  8. Actively participate in training programs and developmental activities to progress toward becoming a fully competent surveyor.
  9. Uphold the highest ethical standards in all professional interactions.

Requirements

A Master's Degree in Naval Engineering and proficiency in the English language are required. Newly hired or minimum 3 years of experience in the engineering or survey fields within the marine industry or other applicable industry to their specialization is preferred.
