Job Summary

APTO MANAGEMENT SERVICES PVT LTD is seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the IT infrastructure required for SAP HANA systems. This role will focus on deploying and supporting SAP HANA environments while ensuring the underlying IT infrastructure—servers, storage, networks, and virtualization platforms—are robust, secure, and scalable.

Key Responsibilities

  • SAP HANA Infrastructure Deployment & Management: Design, deploy, and manage SAP HANA infrastructure solutions, including servers, storage, and networking components tailored for SAP HANA requirements.
  • Server & Storage Management: Manage and maintain physical and virtual servers (Windows/Linux) to support SAP HANA environments. Oversee storage solutions (SAN, NAS) optimized for SAP HANA workloads, ensuring low latency and high performance.
  • Network & Security Administration: Configure and manage network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, VPNs, and firewalls, to ensure secure and efficient communication between SAP HANA systems and users.
  • Performance Monitoring & Optimization: Monitor the performance of SAP HANA systems and underlying infrastructure using monitoring tools and platforms (e.g., Nagios, SolarWinds). Analyze performance data and implement tuning measures to optimize SAP HANA database performance and overall system efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; equivalent work experience may be considered.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure engineering, with at least 2 years focused on SAP HANA deployment and management.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP HANA architecture, installation, and optimization.
  • Strong knowledge of server and storage management, including virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
  • Proficiency in network administration, including firewalls, VPNs, and security best practices.
