Job Title: Team Lead

The role of a team lead is to provide strategic, technical, and managerial leadership to ensure the high-quality, timely delivery of project outcomes. This involves stakeholder engagement, coordination with national and international partners, and supervision of short-term experts.

The team lead will hold overall responsibility for project advisory packages, ensuring delivery quality and timelines. They will also lead, plan, and manage personnel assignments within budget, including supporting local and international experts.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Holding overall responsibility for project advisory packages
  • Leading, planning, and managing personnel assignments
  • Coordinating all project communications with key partners, stakeholders, and consortium members
  • Providing technical leadership for the assignment
  • Preparing regular progress and technical reports as per project deadlines
Qualifications & Experience

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's degree in Environmental Policy, Economics, Forestry, Business Administration, or related discipline
  • Proficiency in English and Hindi (B2 level)
  • 12 years of professional experience in sustainability and natural resources management, 8 years in business development, value chain promotion, and market linkages, 5 years of management/leadership experience as a project team leader or manager in a company, 5 years of experience in projects in South Asia, and 2 years of experience in projects in India
