Senior AI Technical Strategy Lead Job Description:

The role of Senior AI Technical Strategy Lead involves overseeing the technical direction for an artificial intelligence team. The successful candidate will manage day-to-day delivery, leading a team of data engineers, MLOps engineers, and machine learning engineers to achieve project objectives and deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide strategic leadership and vision for the AI team, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
  2. Lead and mentor a team of data engineers, MLOps engineers, and machine learning engineers to develop robust, scalable, and efficient AI models.
  3. Contribute to AI/ML architecture design and implementation, ensuring seamless integration with business processes.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into production-grade AI solutions.
  5. Serve as a primary point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment with project goals.
  6. Guide AI engineers in developing optimal ML models based on use cases, connecting the dots between business objectives and technical capabilities.
  7. Manage day-to-day operations, ensuring adherence to process, scope, quality, and timelines.
  8. Act as an engagement coordinator between the development team and stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  9. Highlight risks and concerns to the leadership team and work with multiple stakeholders to establish mitigation plans.
  10. Proactively track delivery statuses and project progress, taking ownership of all deliverables.
  11. Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and management.
  12. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in AI and ML, identifying opportunities for innovation and growth.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field.
  • 12 to 15 years of total experience, with at least 2 years of experience leading/managing AI projects.
  • Strong understanding of AI concepts & algorithms, including supervised, unsupervised, and reinforcement learning.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven experience in leading, motivating & inspiring teams to foster collaboration and innovation.
