Oracle Applications Technical Job Description

Role Overview

We are seeking an Oracle Applications R12 Technical professional with in-depth expertise in Oracle Financials, specifically Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Service Contracts, Eb-Tax, and Cash Management.

This individual will be part of a team working on the maintenance, development, and configuration of the application in the mentioned modules.

  • Maintenance: Ensure the system is set up and configured correctly.
  • Month-end Issues: Resolve financial module-related issues to ensure timely closure.
  • System Maintenance: Fix bugs and develop new features.
  • Testing and Documentation: Develop test plans and assist technical and business teams during testing and documentation.
  • Training: Create training materials for business stakeholders based on Oracle functionality.
  • Design and Configuration: Design and configure the system according to business requirements.
  • Documentation: Prepare functional design documents and system configuration documents for new features and enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Apply knowledge of Oracle Financials R12, focusing on Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Cash Management.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience with Oracle Service Contracts.
  • Strong understanding of standard Oracle business processes, dependencies, programs, screens, and reports in these modules.
  • Deep understanding of pre-requisites and system setups for key business functions in these modules.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Oracle system architecture, including tables, schemas, and relationships between tables in Oracle Financials.
  • Proficiency in Oracle development methodologies.
  • In-depth knowledge of Finance and Accounting functions and processes.
