Civil Engineer - Solar Infrastructure Specialist

This is a key role within the company, responsible for assessing and analysing potential sites for solar installations. The successful candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, with experience in site planning, demolition, grading and stormwater management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to evaluate the suitability of locations for solar installations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and design infrastructure components such as access roads, fencing, laydowns and drainage systems to support solar projects.
  • Design pile foundations, module mounting steel structures, main control room foundation and prepare detailed bill of quantities for structures based on drawings.
  • Provide technical support during the construction phase, addressing any civil and structural challenges or issues that arise.
Requirements:
  • A bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field is essential.
  • Proficiency in engineering software such as Autodesk AutoCAD, Civil3D, HydroCAD, STAAD-Pro, ETABS, and other relevant tools is crucial.

As a civil engineer in this role, you will work closely with other engineers and stakeholders to create detailed engineering plans, manage the permitting process, and ensure the successful integration of solar systems into existing infrastructure.

You will be working on complex projects that require attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to collaborate with others.
