Highly Experienced Functional Tester Wanted

As a functional tester, you will be responsible for developing, documenting, and executing functional test cases and test scripts based on business requirements.
You will perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved, ensuring that the software meets the specified requirements and functions correctly.
Additionally, you will lead and support UAT activities, ensuring that the software meets the end-users' needs and expectations.
You will also coordinate with business users and stakeholders to define UAT scenarios and acceptance criteria, facilitate UAT sessions, document findings, and ensure issues are resolved promptly.
Furthermore, you will act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders during testing phases, communicate test results, status updates, and issues effectively to stakeholders and management.
Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining test plans, test strategies, and test schedules, identifying and mitigating risks associated with testing activities, and ensuring comprehensive test coverage and adherence to quality standards.
Log, track, and manage defects throughout the testing lifecycle, collaborate with development teams to resolve defects and ensure timely fixes, verify defect resolutions and perform retesting as required, identify areas for improvement in the testing process, and implement best practices.
Staying updated with the latest testing tools, methodologies, and industry trends is essential for this role. Providing training and mentoring to junior testers as needed is also a key aspect of this position.
