Cloud Architect Position

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Architect to design and implement cloud-based solutions for our clients. The ideal candidate will have experience in assessing, architecting, designing, and implementing cloud-based projects.

The Cloud Architect will work closely with clients to understand their business needs and provide guidance on cloud practices and architectural approaches. They will also create architecture blueprints and make recommendations on integration strategies, enterprise architectures, platforms, and application infrastructure.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and technical skills, with the ability to travel to client sites to deploy solutions and deliver workshops.

Responsibilities:

  • Consult with clients to design cloud applications for optimal scaling and expansion
  • Be a trusted technical advisor to customers and solve complex cloud infrastructure challenges
  • Create architecture blueprints working with hyper scalars and other strategic alliances
  • Make recommendations on integration strategies, enterprise architectures, platforms, and application infrastructure
  • Guide the team to implement cloud solutions through architecture guidance, best practices, data migration, capacity planning, implementation, troubleshooting, monitoring, and more
  • Define a roadmap for the cloud center of excellence (COE) in line with the global technology and engineering vision
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior business leaders and client stakeholders on technology trends, strategy, and best practices
  • Elevate the brand as a thought leader on innovative technologies through best practices recommendations, tutorials, blog articles, accelerators, and technical presentations
  • Mentor team members in new cloud technologies associated with evolving architecture

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Master's in Computer Applications
  • Minimum 12+ years of experience in the IT industry
  • 5+ years of experience in assessment/architecting/designing/implementation of cloud-based projects
  • Google Architect certifications
