Are you looking for a challenging role in cloud computing? We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled Data Engineer to join our team.

About the Role

This is a key position in our organization, responsible for designing and implementing scalable data processing systems using Apache Ray. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of cloud computing platforms, including AWS and GCP, and experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Deep Understanding of Cloud Technologies: Possess in-depth knowledge of cloud computing concepts, architectures, and best practices.
  2. System Administration and Monitoring: Administer and monitor production and non-production environments, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
  3. Automation and Orchestration: Automate deployment and orchestration of services into cloud environments, as well as routine processes, to improve efficiency and reduce manual errors.
  4. Cloud Environment Management: Manage multiple cloud environments, including AWS and GCP, to ensure seamless operation and integration.
  5. Capacity Planning and Testing: Participate in capacity planning, scale testing, and disaster recovery exercises to ensure business continuity and minimize downtime.
  6. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with partner teams, including Engineering, QA, and program management, to achieve shared goals and objectives.
  7. Customer Support: Provide exceptional customer support for ML Tuning and inference endpoints on Ray, resolving issues promptly and efficiently.
  8. API Design and Implementation: Design and implement RESTful/RPC APIs and services using Golang or Python, ensuring scalability and reliability.
  9. SLO/SLI and Error Budget Reporting: Implement Service Level Objectives (SLOs) and Service Level Indicators (SLIs), error budget reporting, and other related tasks for various customers.
