Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Electronics Systems Design Expert to join our team. As a seasoned electronics and mechatronics professional, you will play a key role in designing and implementing cutting-edge electro-mechanical systems for our aerospace projects.

This challenging position offers the opportunity to work on complex, high-impact projects at the forefront of aerospace technology. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electronic components seamlessly with mechanical systems into unmanned aerial systems (UAS).

Main Responsibilities:

  • You will spearhead the design, analysis, and integration of complex electronics systems, requiring a deep understanding of core electronics engineering principles and proficiency in mechanical engineering.
  • Design & Development:
    • Responsible for designing and developing high-precision electro-mechanical systems.
    • Define selection criteria for key electronics and mechanical components, test and validate them for use in different sub-systems.
    • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of embedded systems with mechanical systems, aligning design parameters and tolerance considerations.
    • Develop and implement comprehensive testing and verification strategies to ensure robustness and integrity of embedded software and mechanical systems throughout the development lifecycle.
    • Identify and mitigate risks associated with embedded software development and mechanical systems, proactively addressing issues to ensure project success.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, Robotics, or Aeronautical Engineering (Avionics).
  • Strong electro-mechanical design instincts and a thorough understanding of dynamics and control.
  • Hands-on expertise in housing electronic and circuit assembly.
  • Working/basic knowledge of parametric modeling CAD software.
  • Basic knowledge of GD&T and tolerance stack-up.
  • A deep appreciation for technology evolution and modern engineering practices deployed in world-class product development processes.
