Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, implementation, deployment, and maintenance of network infrastructure to ensure high availability, low latency, redundancy, and security.
  • Collaborate with production and IT teams to align network infrastructure with operational needs of continuous production processes.
  • Lead installation and configuration of routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points to ensure optimal performance and security.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot network performance to identify potential bottlenecks and ensure minimal downtime.
  • Plan and execute network upgrades, expansions, and modernization initiatives including security features and future-ready wireless infrastructure solutions like Private 5G WiFi 6.
  • Ensure network scalability to support future production needs and business growth.
  • Implement and enforce network security policies and controls in alignment with organizational policies.
  • Manage relationships with network vendors and external partners to ensure timely delivery, implementation, and support for network hardware and services.
  • Develop redundancy strategies to prevent network failures and ensure continuous availability of production data.

Requirements:

  • Proficient experience in designing and managing large-scale production network deployments.
  • Strong knowledge of network security practices and protocols.
  • Experience in implementing OT/IT network integration and proficient in managing both wired and wireless network infrastructure.
  • Expertise in troubleshooting network issues and implementing solutions in a time-sensitive production environment.
  • Ability to manage vendor relationships and drive continuous improvements in network performance.
  • Strong communication and project management skills with ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Network Engineering.

Experience: 10+ years of experience in managing production floor network infrastructure in manufacturing or industrial environments.
