Position Overview

We seek an experienced and versatile Motion Graphics Specialist to contribute to our dynamic creative team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of visual design principles and be skilled in the latest animation techniques.

The successful candidate will work closely with clients and creative teams to develop innovative visual concepts, create engaging storyboards, and produce high-quality motion graphics that meet project requirements.

  • Conceptualization: Collaborating with clients or creative teams to understand project needs, develop visual ideas, and outline animation sequences through storyboarding.
  • Design and Animation: Utilizing industry-standard software (e.g., Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro) to design and animate graphic elements, typography, characters, and visual effects in 2D or 3D.
  • Typography and Kinetic Typography: Selecting and animating text effectively to convey messages and create visual interest.
  • Audio Integration: Synchronizing animations with voiceovers, sound effects, and music to create cohesive and engaging final products.
  • Video Editing: Combining motion graphics with live-action footage and performing post-production tasks using software like Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro.
  • Brand Consistency: Ensuring that all motion graphics align with client brand guidelines, including color palettes, typography, and visual style.
  • Staying Current: Staying up-to-date with the latest design trends, animation techniques, and software advancements.
  • Optimization: Preparing and exporting animations in various formats optimized for different platforms (web, social media, broadcast, etc.).
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Strong foundation in design principles: Layout, composition, color theory, and typography.
  • End-to-end project execution ability, from concept development through delivery.
  • 5+ years of experience in motion graphics, animation, and video production.
  • Proven ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments while delivering value to the team.
  • Proficiency in animation principles: Timing, spacing, easing, anticipation, etc.
  • Mastery of industry-standard software: Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro is a must, and knowledge of other software like Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and PowerPoint is highly valued.
  • Creativity and artistic vision: Ability to develop original and engaging visual concepts.
  • Attention to detail: Ensuring accuracy and visual consistency in all aspects of the animation.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills: Conveying ideas clearly and working well with others.
  • Time management and organizational skills: Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Adaptability and willingness to learn: The field is constantly evolving, so staying current is crucial.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of motion graphics work.
