Business Intelligence Analyst Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining business intelligence solutions to support organizational decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement data visualizations, reports and dashboards to communicate complex information to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and identify opportunities for process improvement.
  • Design and develop databases, data warehouses, and ETL processes to support business intelligence initiatives.
  • Maintain and support existing business intelligence solutions, ensuring data quality, accuracy and integrity.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend innovative solutions.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to ensure that business intelligence solutions meet their needs and expectations.
  • Provide training and support to end-users on business intelligence tools and systems.
  • Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of business intelligence solutions and make recommendations for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in business intelligence analysis, software development or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of data visualization tools, business intelligence platforms and database management systems.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
  • Experience with data warehousing, ETL processes and cloud-based business intelligence solutions.
  • Certification in business intelligence, data analytics or a related field.
