Business Operations Manager Role

The role of a Business Operations Manager is crucial for the success of any organization. This position involves overseeing the day-to-day operations of an Engineering Centre, ensuring that all activities are carried out in a timely and efficient manner.

The Business Operations Manager will be responsible for managing workloads, planning future activities, and ensuring compliance with corporate norms. They will also be involved in managing costs, preparing weekly KPIs for all divisions functioning at the Engineering Centre, and overseeing the entire operations of the Centre.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Managing workloads to ensure smooth operation of the Engineering Centre
  • Planning for future activities to achieve strategic goals
  • Ensuring compliance with corporate norms and policies
  • Managing costs to optimize resource utilization
  • Preparing weekly KPIs to measure performance
  • Oversight of the entire operations of the Centre
Qualifications and Experience:

To be successful as a Business Operations Manager, you will need to possess the following qualifications and experience:

  • Minimum 6 years of relevant experience; preferably in engineering software development or managing a team of highly qualified technical experts
  • Master's degree in Engineering;
  • Excellent communication abilities;
  • Ability to handle multiple subjects at one time
  • Ability to report to multiple departments (matrix organization)
  • Knowledge of French is a definite advantage
