Vice President of Strategy

About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned executive to lead our strategic planning efforts. As Vice President of Strategy, you will be responsible for developing and executing our company's long-term strategy.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning:

    You will lead the formulation of our company's long-term strategy, aligning with market trends and business goals. This includes identifying growth opportunities in existing and emerging markets, driving initiatives to enter new markets, and enhancing our market positioning.

  • Business Development:

    You will drive the exploration of new business opportunities, partnerships, and alliances. This includes evaluating potential mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures to support strategic growth.

  • Market Analysis and Forecasting:

    You will conduct in-depth market research to anticipate industry shifts and emerging trends. This includes developing and maintaining forecasting models to predict market demand, competitive dynamics, and growth potential.

  • Operational Alignment:

    You will collaborate with various departments to ensure strategic initiatives are integrated into operational plans. This includes working closely with product development, marketing, and sales teams to ensure alignment with strategic goals.

  • Leadership and Team Management:

    You will lead and mentor the strategy team, fostering a culture of innovation and high performance. This includes providing guidance to cross-functional teams involved in strategic projects.

  • Financial Analysis and Budgeting:

    You will develop and manage budgets for strategic initiatives, ensuring efficient allocation of resources. This includes analyzing the financial impact of strategic decisions and providing recommendations to optimize profitability.

  • Stakeholder Engagement:

    You will build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, partners, and industry associations. This includes representing our company at industry events, conferences, and forums to promote our strategic vision.

Qualifications:

  • Education:

    A Master's degree in Business Administration or a related field is required.

  • Experience:

    A minimum of 12-15 years of experience in strategic roles is preferred. Experience within the automotive industry or related sectors is highly valued.

  • Skills:

    Proven track record in developing and executing successful business strategies. Strong understanding of the automotive market, including trends, challenges, and opportunities.

  • Leadership Skills:

    Able to lead, inspire, and manage a diverse team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
