Process Engineer

A Process Engineer plays a crucial role in optimizing production processes, enhancing efficiency, reducing cycle time, and improving product quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process Analysis: Conduct detailed analysis and evaluation of existing manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement and recommend effective solutions.
  • Process Optimization: Design and implement process optimization strategies to boost efficiency, minimize waste, and maximize output.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with Industrial Engineering, Production, and Quality Assurance teams to develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor and analyze process performance metrics, such as cycle time, yield, and scrap rate, to meet or exceed targets.
  • Process Control: Identify and implement process control measures, including statistical process control (SPC) techniques, to ensure consistent quality and reduce process variation.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical support and troubleshooting expertise to resolve process-related issues and improve overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
  • Process Validation: Lead process validation activities, including protocol development, execution, and documentation, to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Cross-Functional Teamwork: Participate in cross-functional teams to drive root cause analysis, corrective actions, and preventive measures.
  • Training and Guidance: Provide training and guidance to production teams on processes, procedures, and equipment to ensure successful implementation and operation.
