Legal Professional Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented legal professional to assume the responsibility of conducting legal research and drafting notices and pleadings. This role involves liaising with external counsels and collaborating on case strategy, maintaining cause-lists and organizing evidence and exhibits.

Responsibilities include assisting with preparation for trials and hearings, coordinating end-to-end process for registration of agreements, and actively coordinating with other functional areas for day-to-day legal matters.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Conducting legal research and drafting pleadings and notices.
  • Liaising with external counsels and collaborating on case strategy.
  • Maintaining cause-lists and organizing evidence and exhibits.
  • Assisting with preparation for trials and hearings.
  • Coordinating end-to-end process for registration of agreements.
  • Actively coordinating with other functional areas for day-to-day legal matters.

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • LLB from a reputed college.
  • 3-4 years of litigation handling experience in a reputable law firm or in corporate.
  • Familiarity with legal research tools (e.g., Livelaw, Manu Patra, Westlaw, LexisNexis).

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. A strong understanding of relevant statutes, regulations, and case laws is essential. Additionally, the ability to stay updated on new laws and regulations is required.
