Job Title:

Quantitative Risk Management Specialist

This is a full-time internship opportunity that can potentially convert to a permanent role. The selected candidate will work on various functionalities related to asset liability management, interest rate risk in banking books, behavioral modelling, Pillar 1 risks (Market Risk, Credit Risk, Operational Risk), and Pillar 2 Risks (ICAAP) using our proprietary application suite for Balance Sheet Management.

Main Responsibilities:

  • The individual will develop and validate Python and Excel models for risk analysis, assist with client user acceptance testing, and create end-to-end functionalities for modelling macro-economic factors and market prices.
  • Additional tasks include validating cashflow, valuation, and sensitivity models using Excel/Python for banking and derivative products, developing project execution and product collaterals, and adhering to development standards and protocols.

Requirements:

  • A valid work permit or being an Indian citizen is mandatory.
  • A probation period of 6 months applies to this full-time position.
  • Candidates should demonstrate knowledge of Banking risks and quantification, understanding of Basel accords for Banking risk management, proficiency in financial instrument valuation and risk assessment, statistical, econometrics, time series analysis, back-end server-side languages like Python, and databases like MSSQL and PostgreSQL.
