Software Engineer Position

The Software Engineer will be responsible for designing and developing software applications for automotive embedded devices. This position will require the candidate to have a strong understanding of Linux, C/C++, and STL programming languages.

This role will involve working on various projects, including creating POCs, demos, and testing software enhancements. The ideal candidate should have experience with Linux on an embedded platform, knowledge of IPC mechanisms, and good written and oral communication skills.

Beyond technical skills, this position requires a creative problem-solver who can work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop scalable, maintainable, and well-structured automotive grade Linux applications.
  • Enable platform for research and development of POCs and demos in areas like 5G.
  • Work on multithreading environment and thread synchronization techniques.

Requirements:

  • Mandatory Skills:
  • Linux on an embedded platform
  • IPC (Inter Process Communication) mechanisms
  • C/C++ programming language
  • STL (Standard Template Library)

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Gtest based C++ unit test framework
  • Knowledge of Open Embedded, Bitbake, and package management
  • Understanding of build environment for Linux on embedded platforms
