Embedded Systems Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Embedded Systems Specialist to join our team.

  • Job Description:
  • Design, develop, and test firmware for embedded systems using C programming language.
  • Work with microcontrollers, peripherals, and other hardware components to create efficient and reliable systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate firmware into larger projects.
  • Requirements:
  • Strong Foundation in Embedded C Programming: Proficiency in C programming language and experience with embedded systems development.
  • Hands-on Experience with Microcontrollers: Familiarity with 16/32-bit microcontroller platforms and experience with device drivers and applications.
  • Bare Metal and RTOS Knowledge: Understanding of bare metal coding and real-time operating system (RTOS) concepts.
  • IDE and Scripting Skills: Experience with integrated development environments (IDEs) like MPLAB X IDE, STM32CubeIDE, and Code Composer Studio, as well as scripting languages like Python and Shell scripts.
  • Debugging and Testing: Strong debugging skills and experience with JTAG, GDB debuggers, and Lauterbach.
  • Parallel Processing and Peripherals: Familiarity with parallel-processing concepts like threads, signals, priorities, semaphores, mutexes, race-conditions, deadlocks, and experience with peripherals like USB, Ethernet, PCIe, I2C, SPI, MQTT, and HTTPs.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
  • Version Control and Code Review: Experience with version control tools like Git and code review tools like Collaborator and Gerrit.
