Private Equity Financial Analyst

Job Overview
This position involves overseeing financial reporting and accounting for private equity funds, ensuring accuracy and compliance with US GAAP standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Fund Accounting: Maintain the general ledger, record journal entries, and reconcile accounts for multiple private equity funds.
- Valuation Support: Assist in portfolio company valuations, ensuring accurate and timely updates to financial records.
- Audit Coordination: Lead audit workpaper preparation and liaise with external auditors for smooth audits.
- Compliance and Regulatory Reporting: Ensure regulatory compliance and assist with filings as needed.
- Cash Management: Monitor cash flows and liquidity positions for funds, ensuring adequate funding.
- Process Improvement: Identify process improvements in financial reporting and accounting practices, implementing best practices.
Qualifications:
- Education: Master's degree in accounting or related field; CPA certification preferred.
- Experience: 5-8 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in private equity or alternative investments.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of US GAAP, financial reporting, and private equity accounting principles.
- Soft Skills: Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under tight deadlines.
Working Conditions:
- Primarily office-based position, with flexibility required to meet deadlines.
