Senior API Developer

We seek a highly skilled API developer to lead our digital transformation initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and managing APIs using Google APIGEE Edge or APIGEE X.

This role involves building scalable, secure, and high-performance API solutions that drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and deploy APIs using APIGEE Edge / APIGEE X.
  • Implement API proxies, policies (security, traffic management, mediation, etc.), and custom scripts.
  • Collaborate with architects and backend teams to define API contracts and integration strategies.
  • Evaluate and ensure APIs are secure, scalable, and meet performance benchmarks.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot API performance and availability issues.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines for API deployments.
  • Maintain API documentation and version control.
  • Work with OAuth 2.0, JWT, and other authentication/authorization mechanisms.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • 5-8 years of experience in API development using APIGEE.
  • Strong understanding of RESTful API design principles.
  • Experience with OAuth 2.0, SAML, JWT, and other API security standards.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Git, Maven, etc.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (GCP preferred, AWS/Azure acceptable).
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
