Our organization is seeking an experienced Senior Process Safety and HSE Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety of our processes and personnel.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in process safety and HSE, with expertise in oil and gas projects. You will be responsible for leading and facilitating Hazardous Operability Study (HAZOP), Hazard ID (HAZID), SIL/LOPA studies to ensure process safety.

Additionally, you will prepare and review key safety documents such as Safety Philosophies, Fire Risk Assessments, Dangerous Situations Reports (DSRs), and Hazardous Area Classification.

You will also develop Quantitative Risk Assessment (QRA), Failure Effects Analysis (FERA), Event Sequence Simulation Analysis (ESSA), and other safety studies.

Other responsibilities include reviewing Piping and Instrument Diagrams (P&IDs), layouts, and equipment specifications from a safety design perspective.

Supporting design reviews, management of change (MoC), and alarm rationalization to ensure process safety will also be part of your role.

In terms of HSE management, you will support the development of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) plans, risk assessments, and method statements for projects.

Conducting site HSE inspections, toolbox talks, and compliance checks during construction or commissioning to ensure adherence to international HSE standards will be required.

You will also ensure compliance with OSHA, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001 standards.

Leading or supporting incident investigation, root cause analysis, and corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence will be another key aspect of your role.
