System Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled System Architect to design and implement large-scale network systems.

The ideal candidate will have practical experience in designing solutions for unique customer requirements, planning for solution scalability, redundancy, and resiliency, and ensuring designs meet customer needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Solution Design: Develop scalable, redundant, and resilient system architectures that meet customer requirements.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with customer technical teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues that arise during the delivery phase.
  • Relationship Management: Foster healthy relationships between Netsweeper and our customers.

Requirements:

  • Practical Experience: In the design and implementation of large-scale network systems.
  • Technical Knowledge: Of applying network scalability, redundancy, and resiliency for mission-critical systems.
  • Design Skills: With creation and management of solution designs.
  • Delivery Skills: With the planning and delivery of solution designs.
  • Support Skills: Direct involvement with pre-sales and post-sales support.
  • RFP/Tender Experience: Experience with supporting RFPs/Tenders.
  • Languages: Fluency in English required.

Technical Requirements:

  • Linux Experience: Practical and applied Linux experience, ideally with CentOS and RedHat.
  • Network Equipment: Practical and applied experience with common network equipment, ideally Cisco, Juniper.
  • Large-Scale Networks: Practical knowledge of large-scale IP based networks and associated protocols (MPLS, BGP, ICAP, OSPF, etc.).
  • Scripting Languages: Practical and applied experience with common scripting languages such as Shell Scripts, PHP, Perl, Python, etc.
  • Proxy-Based Solutions: Practical and applied experience with proxy-based network solutions (explicit, transparent).
  • Enterprise/Education Networks: Practical and applied experience within Enterprise/Education networks (routing/switching, Active Directory, security, proxies).
  • Telecom Service Provider Networks: Practical experience with telecom service provider networks (routing, OSS/BSS, AAA, LDAP, Radius).
  • Root Cause Analysis: Practical experience performing root causes analysis in software and networks.
