As a skilled Data Engineering Consultant, you will be responsible for developing and implementing high-performance data systems, applications, and pipelines to process large datasets from multiple sources. This role requires strong technical expertise in building scalable architectures and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that meet business needs.

About the Role
  • Design and implement data systems, applications, and pipelines using various technologies such as big data processing frameworks, cloud-based platforms, and data storage solutions.
  • Collaborate with senior architects, product managers, DevOps, and project managers to ensure seamless integration with existing systems and processes.
  • Develop services, controls, and reusable patterns that enable the team to deliver value safely, quickly, and sustainably in the public cloud and on-premises environments.
  • Proactively automate infrastructure, application, and services to enable automated delivery through continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Help convert current on-premises ETL pipelines from .NET to cloud-based solutions using Azure Data Factory/Data Bricks.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in data engineering, including experience with big data processing frameworks, cloud-based platforms, and data storage solutions.
  • Strong understanding of software development principles, including design patterns, architecture, and testing methodologies.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and version control systems like Git.
