Mobile Application Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned expert in mobile application testing and automation to play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and performance of our mobile products. This individual will be responsible for developing and executing automated test scripts, collaborating with developers and product managers, and identifying defects using a defect tracking system.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop Automated Test Scripts: Create efficient and effective automated test scripts for mobile applications using relevant tools and technologies.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with developers and product managers to understand requirements, ensure quality, and deliver high-quality results.
  • Identify and Track Defects: Use a defect tracking system to identify, record, and track defects, providing actionable insights for improvement.
  • Design and Implement Test Frameworks: Develop and implement robust test frameworks for automated testing, ensuring seamless integration with existing processes.
  • Perform Regression Testing: Conduct thorough regression testing to ensure application stability after updates, maintaining a high level of quality.
  • Analyze Test Results: Analyze test results, providing detailed reports to stakeholders on key findings and recommendations for improvement.
  • Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Trends: Continuously update knowledge on the latest mobile testing tools, technologies, and methodologies, applying this expertise to drive quality improvements.
Requirements:
  • 4-8 Years of Experience: A minimum of 4-8 years of experience in mobile automation testing, with a strong background in software development and testing.
  • Automation Testing Tools: Proficient in automation testing tools such as Appium, Selenium, or similar, with experience in creating efficient test scripts.
  • Mobile Development Platforms: Strong knowledge of mobile application development platforms (iOS and Android), including programming languages and development environments.
  • Programming Languages: Experienced in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript, with a strong understanding of coding principles and best practices.
  • CI/CD Processes: Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes, with experience in implementing these methodologies in a fast-paced environment.
  • Software Testing Methodologies: Understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
