Business Insights Analyst Role Overview

We're seeking a highly motivated and flexible Business Insights Analyst to join our Digital Data Analytics unit.

This individual will work closely with internal customers and business partners to define, develop, and analyze business intelligence requirements and deliverables.

The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work in a highly matrixed environment and contribute to user training and adoption of business intelligence tools.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and analyze business intelligence needs with internal customers and business partners.
  • Conduct requirement discussions with stakeholders from various business areas to identify common gaps or challenges.
  • Prioritize business needs based on conversations and communicate effectively with both business partners and data SMEs.
  • Work on multiple tasks and projects as a team member, creating business requirement documents for solution design.
  • Identify and provide input on new technology opportunities that impact overall BI systems.
  • Participate in work stream planning, including inception, technical design, development, data model, testing, and delivery of BI solutions.
  • Develop demand forecasts and project timelines, designing and delivering end-user training and training materials.
  • Perform analysis for a wide range of requests using data in different formats and from various platforms, researching business problems and creating models to analyze these issues.
  • Provide design support for business intelligence solution development and train internal business users, leading business BI forums to build a healthy BI community.
  • Ensure quality and integrity of data by comparing source and target data.
