Sustaining Engineer Trainer Role

We are seeking an experienced Sustaining Engineer with a strong background in product lifecycle management, design changes, and reliability improvement.

  • Develop and deliver training programs to engineering teams on sustaining engineering best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive product reliability and quality initiatives.
  • Analyze root cause issues and implement corrective actions to prevent recurring problems.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with industry standards (ISO, FDA, cGMP).
  • Foster collaboration between R&D, Quality, Manufacturing, and Service teams to achieve common goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Train and mentor engineering teams on sustaining engineering principles and practices.
  • Support product lifecycle management from post-launch support to end-of-life.
  • Guide teams in implementing design changes and product modifications efficiently.
  • Lead CAPA investigations and ensure corrective and preventive actions are executed properly.
  • Promote reliability improvement initiatives and preventive maintenance strategies.

Requirements:

  • Over 10 years of experience in sustaining engineering with a focus on product reliability and quality.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to lead CAPA investigations.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated expertise in product lifecycle management, design changes, and reliability improvement.
  • Ability to develop and deliver training programs to engineering teams.
