As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our data automation endeavors.

  • You will be responsible for designing and developing automated scripts in Python to create a golden model within SQL Server for use in test automation.

We are seeking a highly skilled Test Automation Engineer with a strong focus on data validation and transformation logic, who can develop innovative solutions in the field of data automation.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in CI/CD environments and integrating tests into automated pipelines, as well as proficiency in Python, particularly with any of the following frameworks: YData-Synthetic, SDV, Gretel-Synthetics, SynthCity, or DoppelGANger.

The position requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as a solid understanding of relational databases and data warehousing concepts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create a robust golden model within SQL Server using Python-based automation scripts.
  • Collaborate with developers and analysts to ensure seamless data integration and efficient test coverage.
  • Integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines to facilitate continuous delivery and deployment.
  • Identify and document defects and inconsistencies in data to drive process improvements.
  • Develop and maintain reusable SQL test frameworks to enhance testing efficiency.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong experience in Test Automation with a focus on data validation and transformation logic.
  • Proficiency in Python, specifically with popular frameworks such as YData-Synthetic, SDV, Gretel-Synthetics, SynthCity, or DoppelGANger.
  • Experience working in CI/CD environments and integrating tests into automated pipelines.
  • Solid understanding of relational databases and data warehousing concepts.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • MUST HAVE experience with GE Plant Applications.
