Automation Tester

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled automation tester to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software QA methodologies and tools, with a focus on automation testing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain automated test cases for UI, API, and mobile applications
  • Collaborate with development teams to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions
  • Design and implement test frameworks using Java, Python, or other languages as needed

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in automation testing with a strong background in software QA methodologies and tools
  • Proficiency in at least one programming/scripting language such as Java, Python, or Shell
  • Experience working in Unix/Linux environments, including writing shell scripts and using Unix command-line tools
  • Strong understanding of relational databases and advanced SQL skills
  • Experience with RESTful API testing and tools like Postman, or similar
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with test data management and JSON parsing
  • Knowledge of AODA compliance and accessibility standards
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
