Interventional Cardiac Specialist
Job Description:We are seeking an experienced Interventional Cardiac Specialist to join our medical team in Kolkata. As a key member of our hospital, you will be responsible for diagnosing and managing a wide range of cardiovascular conditions.
You will perform interventional procedures such as coronary angioplasty and stent placement, pacemaker and device implantations, and emergency interventions for acute myocardial infarction.
In addition, you will provide round-the-clock support for acute cardiac emergencies and Cath Lab cases, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team for comprehensive care, and participate in academic training, CMEs, and hospital quality improvement programs.
Required Skills and Qualifications:- MBBS from a recognized medical college (mandatory)
- MD (General Medicine) followed by DM (Cardiology) or equivalent DNB (Cardiology) from an NMC-recognized institute (mandatory)
- Strong expertise in interventional cardiology procedures (angioplasty, stenting, device implantation, etc.)
- Extensive experience in Cath Lab operations and acute cardiac care management
- Strong diagnostic, analytical, and patient management skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work effectively in high-pressure tertiary care hospital settings
