Job Title: Structural Design Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Design Engineer to join our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing structural design and engineering inputs for Social Infrastructure projects.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in structural engineering design for buildings and social infrastructure projects, with expertise in software such as STAAD Pro, ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000, and AutoCAD.

A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in structural engineering is required, along with a graduate degree in Civil Engineering and a post-graduate degree in Structural Engineering.

  • Responsibilities:
    • Provide structural design and engineering inputs for Social Infrastructure projects (schools, hospitals, community centers, sanitation facilities, water supply structures, etc.).
    • Review and finalize structural designs, drawings, and detailed estimates.
    • Carry out structural analysis and ensure compliance with IS codes, NBC, and applicable international standards.
    • Coordinate with architects, civil engineers, and other specialists to ensure integrated design solutions.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in structural engineering.
  • Graduated in Civil Engineering.
  • Post-graduate degree in Structural Engineering.
  • Strong expertise in structural engineering design for buildings and social infrastructure projects.
  • Proficiency in structural design software (STAAD Pro, ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000, AutoCAD).
  • Knowledge of IS codes, IRC standards, and international guidelines.

Prior experience in DPR preparation for social infrastructure projects is preferred, as well as experience in both government and donor-funded assignments. Familiarity with sustainable and disaster-resilient design practices is also beneficial.
