Senior Risk Manager Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Risk Manager to join our organization. This individual will be responsible for designing and implementing robust risk management frameworks that integrate risk into all aspects of the business.

  • This includes maintaining a risk-aware culture, developing strategies to mitigate identified risks, and creating regular risk assessment reports for senior leadership.
  • The ideal candidate will have knowledge of business management and fiscal practices, as well as skill in coordinating and monitoring the work of others.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement risk management strategies to minimize exposure to potential risks.
  • Maintain a comprehensive risk register, tracking and analyzing risk trends and emerging issues.
  • Collaborate with department heads and operational leaders to identify and address specific risks within their areas.
  • Provide guidance and support in developing risk mitigation plans.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging risks through ongoing professional development.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in risk management, preferably in a similar industry or role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to apply critical thinking and draw conclusions.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
