Experienced Architectural Design Specialist

We are seeking an accomplished professional to assume a pivotal role in our organization's architectural documentation department.

About the Position:

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in creating comprehensive architectural drawings and details for complex, large-scale projects. This includes working on all phases of architectural documentation, from concept development through to construction administration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop detailed architectural drawings using AutoCAD, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project requirements and building codes.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers, architects, and engineers to coordinate drawing sets and ensure quality standards are met.
  • Mentor junior staff members to maintain consistency and high-quality output in drawing sets.
  • Assist in the preparation of project specifications, reports, and other technical documents.

Requirements:

To be considered for this position, you must possess the following qualifications:

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Draftsperson, with a focus on high-rise architectural projects.
  • Excellent proficiency in AutoCAD, including the ability to create precise and detailed architectural drawings.
  • Strong understanding of building codes, construction methods, and materials relevant to high-rise construction.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate work.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
