Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and driven SDET professional to collaborate with our QA/Engineering team. As an SDET, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated tests that ensure the quality of our products.
Main Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with developers and QA engineers to understand product requirements and functionality.
- Design and develop automated test cases for web, mobile, and/or backend applications.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous test integration and deployment pipelines.
- Execute manual test cases when necessary and report issues in a clear, concise manner.
- Analyze test results, debug issues, and work with teams to ensure timely resolutions.
- Maintain and enhance existing automation frameworks and test scripts.
Key Requirements:
- Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Strong programming knowledge in one or more languages.
- Understanding of software testing concepts, including test case design, regression, and performance testing.
- Familiarity with automation tools like Appium or REST-assured is a plus.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Nice to Have:
- Exposure to CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI.
- Knowledge of testing APIs using tools like Postman or Swagger.
- Experience with version control systems like Git.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
