Investment Manager Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our investment team.

This role will be based in Gurgaon and requires working at least three days a week in the office.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic plans for defined contribution, defined benefit, and delegated solutions.
  • Analyze performance of different investment options and overall plans.
  • Collaborate with investment and custodians to gather and clarify client-specific data for reporting.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders to manage expectations and provide timely updates.
  • Lead and mentor a team of analysts across different processes.
  • Own accountability by helping teams troubleshoot issues on projects.
  • Responsible for driving process improvements.
  • Manage relationships with business partners and senior management.
  • Ensure exceptional client experience.
  • Ensure compliance with all internal and client policies.

What You Need:

  • Minimum 8+ years of relevant experience.
  • Graduate (B.com, BBA or equivalent)/ Master's degree in finance (in addition to accounting, economics, or mathematics) and progress towards CFA and CIPM will be preferred.
  • Knowledge of Python and SQL.
  • Strong understanding and proper usage of investment-related terminology in written and verbal communication.
  • Experience in analyzing investment portfolios or researching investment managers located outside of India.
  • Computations of returns (money weighted / time weighted) for defined benefit and NFP clients.
  • Exposure to global capital markets and working knowledge of various asset classes and investment strategies and performance attribution.
  • Good command on MS Office applications (MS-Excel, MS-Word, PowerPoint).
  • Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask, manage multiple priorities, and work in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work under strict deadlines and quick turnaround projects.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, business communication, and time management skills.
