This is a challenging Senior Full Stack Engineer role that requires expertise in multiple technologies, including Java and Spring Boot. As a key member of our high-impact migration project, you will be responsible for migrating our legacy UI to Spring Boot microservices and hosting UI pages on AWS.

The successful candidate will have strong knowledge and experience working with Java and related frameworks such as Spring/Spring Boot, as well as excellent knowledge and experience working with Javascript and related frameworks (including old frameworks like JQuery).

In this role, you will work closely with other engineering teams, product managers, support and security teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality software that meets business and operational needs.

  • Design and implement highly available, resilient and secure production systems on AWS Cloud.
  • Migrate legacy UI systems to our new microservice architecture.
  • Upgrade legacy Java applications to Spring Boot applications ensuring high-quality and secure code.
  • Test, document and otherwise quality proof your work to ensure that software meets business and operational needs.
  • Collaborate with the team to maintain CI/CD pipelines to optimize deployment processes.

Key qualifications include a BS degree in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience, and experience working with REST APIs, Jenkins, AWS Cloud infrastructure (e.g. EC2, RDS, S3, Elastic Search) and understanding of security concepts and vulnerability management.
