Senior QA Test Engineer

About the Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior QA Test Engineer to lead our testing efforts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in test automation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and implement system/test strategies, test plans, test processes, test scenarios, and test cases.
  • Create test estimation templates and identify test cases that can be automated.
  • Develop scripts for each test case for automation and create test cases for system tests, integration testing, and user acceptance testing.
  • Execute tests multiple times based on requirements, identifying functional and UI test cases and executing the same.
  • Perform black box and white box testing as required and share test reports and status with the project manager.
  • Provide support to testing teams where needed and retest defects/bugs to certify software eligibility for next rounds or phases.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of QA, test, and development experience.
  • Experience with web automation tools like Selenium with Java/C# and Playwright.
  • Familiarity with designing automation frameworks and knowledge of Azure Test Plans and Azure DevOps.
  • Knowledge of Jmeter, SonarQube is a plus, along with good understanding of technology environments like Azure, Azure SQL, MSSQL.
