System Deployment and Development Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead the deployment and development of smart factory applications across our global operations.

This role will play a key part in scaling these applications across multiple factories, ensuring seamless integration with MES and automation systems.

The ideal candidate will be part of a Global Competency Center serving all Industry 4.0 initiatives for over 1100 factories worldwide.

Our team is dedicated to advancing manufacturing processes through cutting-edge technologies.

This position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where you will play a crucial role in advancing our mission.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for the deployment of global applications.
  • Collaborate with IT, cybersecurity, and customers on application setup, configuration, and validation.
  • Provide application training to customers, support, and troubleshoot problems that arise during deployment.
  • Prepare documentation and SOPs to simplify application deployment and update them from time to time.
  • Provide technical support in PLC, SCADA, and MES to customers and work along with the development team in application improvements.
  • Monitor project progress, track key performance indicators, and provide regular updates and reports to the project team.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • 3+ years of experience in industrial automation and commissioning.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in Ignition SCADA (certifications will be an added advantage).
  • Automation protocols – Modbus RTU & TCP/IP, ProfiNET, Ethernet TCP, OPC DA/UA, S7 communication.
  • Experience in SQL databases, MQTT, and REST API.
  • Experience in scripting languages (Python, JavaScript).
  • Experience/knowledge of Agile methodology.
  • Experience/knowledge of Industry 4.0 methodologies/standards.
  • Experience/knowledge in ISA-95 Network standard.
  • Experience in Siemens and Allen-Bradley (AB) PLCs.
  • Experience in WinCC VB scripting.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated, confident, and results-oriented.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a strong drive for execution.
