Test Automation Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to lead the development and maintenance of test automation frameworks for our backend systems. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in designing, developing, and testing robust systems, with a focus on Automation Framework Development and ETL workflows.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks to ensure efficient and effective testing of backend systems.
  • Collaborate with developers, data engineers, and QA teams to build scalable solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive ETL workflow testing and validation strategies to ensure high-quality data delivery.
  • Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), driving best practices and quality standards across automation frameworks.
  • Perform thorough test planning, test case design, execution, and automation to ensure reliable and accurate results.
Required Skills & Experience:
  • 8-14 years of experience as a Test Automation Engineer or SDET.
  • Strong programming skills in Python, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects.
  • Expertise in PySpark and handling large-scale data workflows, with a focus on scalability and performance.
  • Deep understanding of SDLC concepts, including Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
  • Experience in Automation Framework Development, with a focus on backend systems.
  • In-depth knowledge of ETL processes and end-to-end workflow testing, with a focus on data quality and integrity.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Good to Have:
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP) and CI/CD pipeline management.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and Agile environments.
