As a seasoned Technical Lead, you will oversee the development of MERN Stack applications. You will maintain and develop web applications and REST APIs using NodeJS and ReactJs.

You will have hands-on experience with Typescript, SQL queries, and database management with Postgres or MySQL and Mongodb. Your understanding of web development lifecycle including frontend and backend using modern frameworks is crucial for this role.

Besides, you should be able to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems and issues on web applications in a production environment. Ensuring that best practices are followed in design, development, coding, testing, and debugging of software is also expected.

This role requires working experience with GIT, knowledge of deployment process on stage and production environment, and knowledge of aws services like lambda, elastic beanstalk, s3, ec2, codepipeline, SQS, redis etc. Additionally, knowledge of unit testing framework like Jest and enzyme and third party application integrations is necessary.

Last but not least, being able to technically lead and guide teams as well as communicate proactively with internal team and clients is key to success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and develop web applications and REST APIs
  • BUILD and consume APIs - Restful and GraphQL
  • Develop front end and back end website architecture
  • Define and configure servers for deployments
  • Create database schemas
  • Design security architecture with the application
  • Perform deployment on staging and production servers
  • Perform performance optimization of the application
  • Set up git processes
  • Create, estimate, and delegate tasks with the team
Requirements:
  • 7+ years of extensive NodeJS experience building web applications
  • Maintaining and developing web applications and the REST APIs
  • BUILD and consuming APIs - Restful and GraphQL
  • Hands-on development experience of atleast 5+ years ReactJs or its framework like NextJs along with HTML, CSS, JavaScript
  • Knowledge and working experience of Typescript
  • Hands-on development experience in writing SQL queries and database management with Postgres or MySQL and Mongodb
  • Overall Understanding of web development lifecycle including frontend and backend using modern frameworks
  • Must have working experience with GIT
  • Troubleshooting and resolution of technical problems and issues on web applications in a production environment
  • Ensuring that best practices are followed in the design, development, coding, testing, and debugging of software
Preferred Skills:
  • Knowledge of deployment process on stage and production environment
