Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced SAP Technical Architect to join our SAP practice and contribute to the design, development, and implementation of SAP solutions for our clients. Reporting to the SAP Practice Director, the SAP Technical Architect will play a critical role in shaping the technical strategy, providing expert guidance on SAP architecture, and ensuring the successful delivery of SAP projects. This hands-on role requires deep expertise in SAP technologies, strong problem-solving abilities, and a passion for driving innovation through SAP solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Leadership:

• Lead the design and development of SAP architecture and technical solutions that meet client business requirements.

• Provide technical direction and guidance to SAP project teams, ensuring alignment with best practices and standards.

• Oversee the integration of SAP systems with third-party applications, legacy systems, and other enterprise software.

Solution Design & Implementation:

• Collaborate with functional consultants, business stakeholders, and the SAP Practice Director to translate business needs into technical solutions.

• Lead the development, customization, and optimization of SAP modules (such as SAP S/4HANA, Fiori, ABAP, and SAP Cloud Platform).

• Ensure high-quality delivery by performing technical reviews, troubleshooting, and guiding teams through the implementation lifecycle.

Architecture & Innovation:

• Define and document SAP technical architecture, including system landscapes, data flows, and integration points.

• Stay updated with emerging SAP technologies, tools, and frameworks to recommend innovative solutions to clients.

• Lead migration strategies, particularly to SAP S/4HANA, and evaluate technical roadmaps for modernizing legacy systems.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:

• Work closely with the SAP Practice Director and other business leaders to develop and implement technical strategies that align with the overall SAP practice.

• Provide technical expertise and insights to support business development efforts, including proposals, RFPs, and client presentations.

• Act as a technical point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs are met and providing technical support and troubleshooting when required.

Team Support & Mentorship:

• Mentor and support junior technical team members, helping to develop their SAP expertise and ensuring adherence to architectural standards.

• Ensure the continuous technical development of the team by sharing best practices and conducting training on new technologies.

Experience:

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in SAP architecture and development, with a deep technical understanding of SAP systems.

• Proven expertise in SAP S/4HANA, ABAP, SAP Fiori, SAP Cloud Platform, and other relevant SAP technologies.

• Experience with SAP integrations, migrations, and system landscape optimization.

• Previous experience in a technical leadership role, working on large-scale SAP implementations across various industries.

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong technical knowledge of SAP system architecture, including database, application, and user interface layers.

• Proficient in SAP development languages and tools, including ABAP, Fiori, CDS Views, and OData services.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to address complex technical challenges.

• Strong understanding of SAP best practices and methodologies for system development, configuration, and integration.

• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
