About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Senior Cloud Developer to join our team at SAP. As a key member of our engineering group, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining cloud-based solutions that meet our customers' unique needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze business requirements and design cloud-based solutions.
  • Develop and maintain cloud-based applications using BTP, Java, and Node.js.
  • Work with cloud native architecture and development principles to ensure scalability, security, and performance.
  • Lead and own topics by collaborating with architects to design solutions that meet functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Coach team members to become proficient in development and quality processes, and technologies used in the team.
  • Continuously improve designs and implementations, contributing significantly to technical solutions.
  • Possess a DevOps mindset, including ownership of topics from development through to deployment in production.
  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement mindset in the people and showcase innovation in deliverables.
  • Troubleshoot critical production issues.
  • Adhere to agile engineering practices and processes followed by the team.

Requirements

  • 8-14 years of relevant experience in software development.
  • Strong programming background in BTP, Java, Node.js, and cloud-based development.
  • Good understanding of cloud native architecture and development.
  • Hands-on experience in cloud-based development using BTP, Cloud Foundry, AWS, or Azure.
  • Good experience in REST API creation and consumption.
  • Profound knowledge of Git, UI5/JavaScript, and DevOps.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities and innovative mindset.
  • Excellent communication in English.
