Cloud Engineering Specialist

Gainwell Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Cloud Engineering Specialist to join our team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining secure and reliable AWS-based product demo environments that integrate GenAI pipelines and engineering practices.

  • Architect and provision AWS demo environments using services such as EC2, ECS/Fargate, Lambda, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, IAM, KMS, API Gateway, CloudWatch, and AWS Glue.
  • Build and maintain Terraform modules to automate environment provisioning, resets, and decommissioning.
  • Integrate AWS GenAI solutions (Bedrock, SageMaker) for scenario automation and real-time demo enrichment.
  • Collaborate with Demo COE and Product SMEs to evaluate scenarios and implement custom flows.
  • Implement RBAC, feature flag toggling, and configuration management via AWS Systems Manager and AppConfig.
  • Ensure environmental health through automated monitoring, alerting, and load testing (CloudWatch, AWS Load Balancer, X-Ray).
  • Support automated QA gates, metrics capture, and post-demo knowledge management.
  • Provide secondary support for cloud engineering (AWS Glue, Redshift, Athena) for ingesting, transforming, and loading data.
  • Contribute to hybrid cloud demos and integrations with Azure as needed.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in AWS engineering with strong development skills in C#, Java, or Python.
  • Terraform expertise for AWS Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
  • Experience with GenAI or ML services (Bedrock, SageMaker, Lambda).
  • Professional certification in AWS is preferred.
