Cloud Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Engineer to join our team. As a Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining highly available and scalable AWS infrastructure and services within a managed service environment.

  • Manage deployments in various environments such as QA/Stage/Production and engage stakeholders as required, adhering to Service Level Agreements (SLA).
  • Build, deploy, and manage Kubernetes clusters through automation using Terraform.
  • Institute infrastructure as code, security, and process automation, as well as the automation of routine maintenance tasks.

The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience working on AWS, Kubernetes Orchestration, and EKS, with 6+ years of production environment experience. Additionally, they should have expertise in infra-automation using Terraform| CloudFormation | Ansible, Linux environment with at least one scripting language, CI/CD pipeline using Jenkins, Harness or ArgoCD, Application Performance Monitoring tools such as Datadog, Instana, Grafana, Splunk, PagerDuty, Pingdom and Cloud Watch.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work in 16 X 5 shifts for support of infrastructure, with weekly rotational shifts in the morning or evening.
  • Create and deliver knowledge-sharing presentations and documentation.
  • Learn on the job and explore new technologies with minimal supervision.
  • Participate in and lead war-room/critical outage calls, ensuring the Root Cause Analysis (RCA) process is implemented.
  • Cross-location Team Management to create a self-managed team, support skill development, provide growth paths, performance evaluations, and attrition management.
